10-man Faroes Islands are overpowered by Germany who win 6-0.

October 11, 2015: UEFA Euro 2016 Qualifier, Group F:
Somewhat of an anti-climax as the best ever qualifying campaign for the Faroe Islands ends in a 3-0 defeat to Rumania who score early and late in the first half to make it difficult for the Faroe Islands.

October 08, 2015: UEFA Euro 2016 Qualifier, Group F:
The Faroe Islands lead against Hungary, but lose 2-1 after Hungary score a 71st minute winner two minutes after the Faroes are robbed of a clear penalty (Video).

October 08, 2015: Player of the Year Awards 2015:
B36 Tórshavn midfielder Lukasz Cieslewicz is voted Player of the Year 2015.

October 03, 2015: Round 27 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
FC Suðuroy are relegated as they lose to HB Tórshavn who pip KÍ Klaksvík for the Europa League spot as it wasn´t enough for them to beat EB/Streymur 6-1. Víkingur beat TB Tvøroyri but stay behind NSÍ Runavík in runners up position as they AB Argir. Champions B36 Tórshavn end on a high with a 3-1 victory away to ÍF Fuglafjørður.

September 27, 2015: Round 26 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
FC Suðuroy come from 2-0 down to beat ÍF Fuglafjørður 5-2 and can still stay up as AB Argir draw against B36 Tórshavn. HB Tórshavn are defeated by Víkingur, but stay two points ahead of KÍ for the 4th Europa League place as they are beaten by NSÍ Runavík. AB get a valuable draw against B36 Tórshavn which can become decisive in the relegation battle. 14th draw for TB Tvøroyri who this time throw a 2-0 lead away against EB/Streymur.

September 01-30, 2015: September Round-Up:
Sámal Erik Hentze to coach Víkingur. Players news, mostly about goalkeepers.
ÍF sack coach Alexandar Jovevic; replace him with former goalkeeper Jákup Mikkelsen. Skála and B68 Toftir promoted to Premier Division. Heini Vatnsdal signs for Fremad Amager in Danish 3rd tier. Víkingur coach Sigfríður Clementsen to quit at end of season.


September 20, 2015: Round 25 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
FC Suðuroy need to win both of their remaining matches to avoid relegation as they are defeated by Víkingur while AB move four points ahead with a draw against ÍF Fuglafjørður. KÍ Klaksvík beat champions B36 Tórshavn to stay in contention for the last Europa League ticket where HB Tórshavn stay two points ahead with a 6-0win over EB/Streymur. TB Tvøroyri get their 13th draw of the season with a 2-2 draw against NSÍ Runavík.
September 13, 2015: Round 24 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
B36 Tórshavn retain Faroese title with a 2-1 win over TB Tvøroyri while NSÍ Runavík fail to beat HB Tórshavn. AB Argir take huge step towards next season’s top flight as they beat FC Suðuroy in the button clash. EB/Streymur beat Víkingur in arguably the biggest surprise of the season. ÍF Fuglafjørður and KÍ Klaksvík draw.

September 08, 2015: U21 Qualifying round:
Faroe Islands suffer a 3-0 defeat to Finland who score three goals in 15 minutes from midway through the first half.

September 07, 2015: UEFA Euro 2016 Qualifier, Group F:
A five-minute lapse of concentration was the difference between The Faroe Islands and Finland who win 1-0.

September 04, 2015: UEFA Euro 2016 Qualifier, Group F:
Stupid red card wrecks a likely draw for the Faroe Islands against Northern Ireland

August 01-31, 2015: August Round-Up:
Lars Olsen selects a 24-man squad for the qualifiers against Northern Ireland and Finland. Sonne Ragnar Nattestad quits Vejle and FC Midtjylland. Rógvi Baldvinson signs for Danish 2nd tier leaders FC Fredericia. And other player news from the Faroese league as well as the selection of the Under-21 team that faces Finland on 8 September. 
HB Tórshavn appoint Milan Cimborovic as new coach.
HB Tórshavn coach Heðin Askham resigns.

August 12, 27 & 30, 2015: Round 23 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
FC Suðuroy scrape past EB/Streymur who lead three times. Having been behind against ÍF Fuglafjørður, TB Tvøroyri for the sixth time this season manage to salvage a draw in the second half.

With their ninth win in a row, B36 beat HB in the Tórshavn derby, and should they beat TB Tvøroyri in the next round, they will win the title if NSÍ Runavík fail to beat HB. AB Argir bag three massive points against KÍ Klaksvík to move three points clear of FC Suðuroy in the relegation zone.

Víkingur beat NSÍ Runavík 3-1 in the brought-forward match from 27 August to stay in contention with B36 should they falter.

August 29: The Cup Competition (Løgmanssteypið)
Víkingur beat NSÍ Runavík 3-0 to win their fourth cup final in a row (video of whole match).

August 23, 2015: Round 22 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
B36 Tórshavn edge closer to the title as they beat Víkingur who rue missed chances. NSÍ Runavík put six past lowly EB/Streymur to climb to second. ÍF Fuglafjørður get deserved last gasp equalizer against HB Tórshavn. AB Argir beat TB Tvøroyri 3-0 to climb above the relegation line for the first time since round 8 as FC Suðuroy are beaten by KÍ Klaksvík who are chasing HB's Europa League ticket.

August 16, 2015: Round 21 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
All results according to the table where higher ranked teams beat lower ranked, except for KÍ Klaksvík who throw away victory with a late embarrassing owngoal against TB Tvøroyri.

August 07 & 09, 2015: Round 20 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin": Slick B36 Tórshavn beat NSÍ Runavík 3-0 in the top clash to open up a 5-point lead in the table. Víkingur’s title hopes all but end as they are held by AB Argir in stalemate. FC Suðuroy drop two invaluable points as TB Tvøroyri equalize with 96th minute penalty. ÍF Fuglafjørður comfortable beat EB/Streymur. HB Tórshavn's misery continues as they are downed by KÍ Klaksvík.

August 02 & 03, 2015: Round 19 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
NSÍ Runavík stay within two points of leaders B36 with a 5-1 demolition of ÍF Fuglafjørður.
Leaders B36 Tórshavn beat FC Suðuroy with 1st-minute goal. Struggling HB Tórshavn rescue a point with a last gasp goal against TB Tvøroyri. Setback for Víkingur in the title race as they are held to 1-1 by KÍ Klaksvík. AB Argir record their first victory of the season as they beat EB/Streymur 4-0.

July 01-31, 2015: July Round-Up:
Rene S. Joensen signs for Danish 2nd tier club Vendsyssel and other player news.
Can the Faroe Islands reach double digits in the 2018 World Cup campaign as they get an excellent draw and are grouped with Portugal, Switzerland, Hungary, Latvia and Andorra?
Latest updates now the transfer window has closed and table toppers B36 Tórhavn have signed a Danish MLS player and 2nd placed NSÍ Runavík have acquired former treble top scorer Christian Høgni Jacobsen.

July 26 to 29, 2015: Round 18 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
HB Tórshavn over and out of the title race after stalemate with FC Suðuroy.
Having lent the top spot out to Víkingur and NSÍ for two days, B36 Tórshavn reclaimed it in style by beating ÍF Fuglafjørður 4-0.
NSÍ Runavík beat AB Argir to go top of the table – for now. EB/Streymur come back from three goals down to draw 4-4 with KÍ Klaksvík.

July 09, 2015, UEFA Europa League, 1st qualifying round, 2nd leg:
NSÍ Runavík rue 1st leg result and sloppy defending tonight as they beat Linfield FC 4-3, but are ousted on the away goals rule.
Víkingur get an exellent 0-0 result away to Rosenborg.
10-men HB Tórshavn are downed 4-1 by Trakai FK.

July 07, 2015, UEFA Champions League, 1st qualifying round, 2nd leg:
Wilde goes wild and scores a hat trick for The New Saints as B36 Tórshavn are overrun at the sold-out Park Hall in Oswestry.

July 02, 2015, UEFA Europa League, 1st qualifying round, 1st leg:
HB Tórshavn all but crash out of the Europa League as their misery in Lithuania continues after a 3-0 defeat to Traku FK (Video highlights).
Víkingur regret two late goals as they match Rosenborg BK for most of the game (Video, full replay).
Linfield look set to advance in European competition for the fourth time in succession at the expense of a Faroese team; this time NSÍ Runavík who are beaten 2-0 in Belfast (Video Highlights).

July 01, 2015, UEFA Champions League, 1st qualifying round, 1st leg:
The New Saints defeat B36 Tórshavn with 90th minute goal after B36 had taken a 7th minute lead that lasted only for a couple of minutes. (Video "re-live").

3-2 win for TB Tvøroyri against EB/Streymur virtually seals fate of both clubs.
B36 Tórshavn score two last gasp goals to beat AB Argir and go 2 points clear at the top of the table as NSÍ Runavík draw 3-3 with KÍ Klaksvík in another 3-3 thriller. Víkingur thrash lacklustre HB Tórshavn.
Crucial draw for FC Suðuroy in 3-3 thriller against ÍF Fuglafjørður.

June 20 & 21, 2015: Round 16 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
B36 Tórshavn edge past KÍ Klaksvík to join NSÍ Runavík at the summit, three points ahead of HB Tórshavn and Víkingur, who have comfortable wins over EB/Streymur and FC Suðuroy, respectively. AB Argir fail to record their first victory of the season as they throw away a two-goal lead against ÍF Fuglafjørður in the closing stages.
Front-runners NSÍ Runavík are loosing pace as they are held by TB Tvøroyri in stalemate.

June 17, 2015: U21 Qualifying round:
Faroe Islands downed by Azerbaijan in U21 qualifying opener (Video - Re-live).

June 13, 2015: UEFA Euro 2016 Qualifier, Group F:
Faroe Islands beat Greece for the second time in seven months.

June 06 & 07, 2015: Round 15 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
B36 Tórshavn beat TB Tvøroyri to move within two points of leaders NSÍ Runavík who draw with HB Tórshavn who are leapfrogged by Víkingur who climb to third after routine win over EB/Streymur. Stalemate between KÍ Klaksvík and ÍF Fuglafjørður. AB Argir goalkeeper Heðin Stenberg scores his second goal of the season as AB with a new coach salvage a draw against FC Suðuroy deep into stoppage time - to possibly avoid relegation in the end.

June 03 & 04: The Cup Competition (Løgmanssteypið)
NSÍ Runavík beat lacklustre HB Tórshavn 1-0 to qualify for the cup final.
Víkingur qualify for their fourth cup final in succession as they beat B36 Tórshavn 2-0 on away soil to overcome the first leg 1-0 deficit.

May 31, 2015: Round 14 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
HB Tórshavn and B36 Tórshavn draw to close in on NSÍ Runavík who suffer their first defeat at home as they are beaten 4-2 by Víkingur. AB Argir in serious problems in the relegation zone as they are beaten 4-0 by in-form KÍ Klaksvík. FC Suðuroy climb five points above the relegation line as they beat rock-bottom EB/Streymur 3-2. ÍF Fuglafjørður beat TB Tvøroyri.

May 01-31, 2015: May Round-Up:
Faroe Islands coach Lars Olsen extends contract to 2020 and picks his first 15 players for Greece qualifier.
Brandur Olsen decides Danish cup final in extra time.

May 25, 2015: Round 13 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
Table toppers NSÍ Runavík demolish EB/Streymur with 8-0. Víkingur and B36 Tórshavn draw. HB Tórshavn edge past ÍF Fuglafjørður. Fifth home-win in a row for KÍ Klaksvík who snatch winner over FC Suðuroy in injury time. 14th draw in total for TB Tvøroyri and AB Argir after yet another draw today.

May 21: The Cup Competition (Løgmanssteypið)
NSÍ Runavík beat HB Tórshavn with a cheap penalty while Víkingur are defeated 1-0 by B36 Tórshavn who play with 10 men for an hour in the first leg of the semi-finals of the cup competition.

May 17, 2015: Round 12 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
Few changes in the table as top beats bottom:
AB Argir - HB Tórshavn 0-1
FC Suðuroy - NSÍ Runavík 1-3
EB/Streymur - B36 Tórshavn 0-2
ÍF Fuglafjørður - Víkingur 1-3

May 14, 2015: Round 11 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
Draw in the top clash between NSÍ Runavík and B36 Tórshavn while HB Tórshavn and Víkingur beat KÍ Klasvík and AB Argir, respectively, to close the gap at the top. Adu scores a hat-trick as TB Tvøroyri come from behind to beat FC Suðuroy 4-1 in the Southern Isle derby. EB/Streymur hold for 70 minutes before they are beaten 3-0 by ÍF Fuglafjørður.

May 08-10, 2015: Round 10 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
Víkingur drop 10 points off the pace as they are beaten by KÍ Klaksvík. TB Tvøroyri hold HB Tórshavn. EB/Streymur win their first match as they beat fellow strugglers AB Argir. B36 Tórshavn beat FC Suðuroy to stay three points adrift of leaders NSÍ Runavík before the top clash on Thursday. NSÍ Runavík tighten their grip on the top of the table with a 3-0 away win over ÍF Fuglafjørður after a strong second half display.

May 03, 2015: Round 09 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
HB Tórshavn beat Víkingur with dos Santos' late scissors kick. NSÍ Runavík break three points clear at the top of the table with a 3-0 win over KÍ Klaksvík while AB Argir snatch late equalizer against B36 Tórshavn. FC Suðuroy win again; 3-2 over ÍF Fuglafjørður. EB/Streymur rooted to the bottom as they are beaten 3-0 by TB Tvøroyri.

April 26, 2015: Round 08 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
Title race intensifies as Víkingur thrash leaders NSÍ Runavík while B36 beat HB in the Tórshavn derby. 10-men TB Tvøroyri draw with ÍF Fuglafjørður. FC Suðuroy beat EB/Streymur to leapfrog AB Argir who drop below the relegation-line after defeat against KÍ Klaksvík who climb to fifth.

April 21 & 22, 2015: The Cup Competition (Løgmanssteypið)
Results and match reports from the quarter-finals of the cup competition where there was intense drama as Víkingur beat ÍF Fuglafjørður on penalties as does NSÍ Runavík against AB Argir while B36 Tórshavn overpower EB/Streymur. HB Tórshavn were put to work to overcome 3rd tier Giza/Hoyvík who were leading at half-time.

April 18 & 19, 2015: Round 07 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
ÍF Fuglafjørður down B36 Tórshavn. Fifth draw for title hopefuls Víkingur who are held by TB Tvøroyri. KÍ Klaksvík comfortably beat EB/Streymur. NSÍ Runavík tighten their grip on the summit as they edge past 10-men AB Argir. HB Tórshavn salvage their title challenge for now with a last gasp winner over FC Suðuroy.

April 01-30, 2015: April Round-Up: (Latest update: 13 April)
Draw for the quarter-finals of the cup competition. Goalkeeper Gunnar Nielsen signs for Icelandic champions Stjarnan.

April 11 & 12, 2015: Round 06 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
NSÍ Runavík prove they mean business as they beat HB Tórshavn whose title challenge seems a long way off. Historic records for Jákup á Borg who beats the all-time scoring record as B36 Tórshavn beat 10-men TB Tvøroyri and for Heðin á Lakjuni who beats the all time appearance-record as KÍ Klaksvík are defeated by ÍF Fuglafjørður who get two red cards. Víkingur do the necessary against EB/Streymur. Georgian duo scores three as FC Suðuroy down AB Argir.

April 02, 2015: Round 05 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
NSÍ Runavík stay on the top of the table as they hold on to a 3-2 win against TB TVøroyri. Top three from last year are climbing as B36 Tórshavn edge past KÍ Klaksvík and HB Tórshavn and Víkingur easily beat EB/Streymur and FC Suðuroy, respectively. 5th draw for AB Argir and 4th for ÍF Fuglafjørður as they play 1-1.

March 29, 2015: UEFA Euro 2016 Qualifier, Group F:
Romania beat the Faroe Islands 1-0 with a deflected free kick (video).

March 29, 2015: The Cup Competition (Løgmanssteypið)
Results and goal scorers from the preliminary round of the cup competition.

March 01-31, 2015: March Round-Up:
Absence-hit Faroe Islands to face Romania. Transfer Window Closed.
Few surprises to be expected in the first round of the cup competition which was drawn on Monday.
Goalkeeper Gunnar Nielsen quits Mortherwell FC. Midfielder Karl Løkin rejoins ÍF Fuglafjørður.

March 21 & 21, 2015: Round 04 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
HB Tórshavn held by TB Tvøroyri. Klæmint Olsen scores twice again as NSÍ Runavík beat ÍF Fuglafjørður. Víkingur salvage a draw against 10-men KÍ Klakvsík.
Walkover for champions B36 Tórshavn against newly promoted FC Suðuroy. Second stalemate in a row for AB Argir who draw away to EB/Streymur.

March 14 & 15, 2015: Round 03 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
Champions B36 comfortably beat early pacesetters NSÍ Runavík. HB Tórshavn beat KÍ Klaksvík. VÍkingur and AB Argir draw for the third time in as many games.
FC Suðuroy lose again as TB Tvøroyri win the "Southern Isle derby". Third draw for ÍF Fuglafjørður as they are held by EB/Streymur.

March 07 & 08, 2015: Round 02 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
Champions B36 Tórshavn equalize three times as they draw with Cup winners Víkingur. ÍF Fuglafjørður withstand second half pressure from HB Tórshavn to earn a draw, but rue late missed sitters. "Windy goals" as AB Argir og TB Tvøroyri draw. KÍ Klaksvík no problems against newcomers FC Suðuroy who still miss foreigners.
NSÍ Runavík beat EB/Streymur 5-1 having survived a scare early early in the second half.

March 01 & 03, 2015: Round 01 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
Champions B36 Tórshavn come from behind to salvage a draw against EB/Streymur. HB Tórshavn seem a long way from silverware as they draw with AB Argir. Víkingur come from two goals down to draw with ÍF Fuglafjørður. 9-men TB Tvøroyri draw with KÍ Klaksvík. NSÍ Runavík thrash FC Suðuroy without foreigners 6-1.

February 01-28, 2015: February Round-Up:
French signing for TB Tvøroyri. More signings for ÍF Fuglafjørður. FC Suðuroy's foreigners not eligible in first round and so is the situation for KÍ Klaksvík's Bosnian. Karl Løkin returns home and Heini Vatnsdal might play in the Faroe Islands after all.
Super Cup on Sunday 22 February marks start of season. U21 qualification draw groups Faroe Islands with Germany and former casualties Russia and Azerbaijan again. Blatter doesn't get Faroese backing. And the latest transfer news ahead of the league-start on 1 March.

February 22, 2015: The Super Cup:
Last season's cup winners Víkingur retain the Super Cup by beating champions B36 Tórshavn on penalties after 3-3 in ordinary play.

January 01-31, 2015: January Round-Up:
