November 16, 2010: Friendly International, Scotland vs. Faroe Islands
Sloppy defending in connection with corners cost 3 first half goals as Scotland beat the Faroe Islands 3-0 at the Pittodrie Stadium in Aberdeen.

October 23, 2010: Round 27 of the Vodafone Division:
HB Tórshavn secure their 21st Faroese league title with a 2-1 win over B36 Tórshavn. Despite losing 9-1! against NSÍ Runavík, B71 Sandoy avoid relegation as AB Argir defeat FC Suðuroy who are both relegated.

October 17, 2010: Round 26 of the Vodafone Division:
HB Tórshavn scrape past ÍF Fuglafjørður and need only a point to clinch the title in the last round on Saturday. After 0-0 at half time, EB/Streymur comfortably beat B71 Sandoy 4-0 in the end. NSÍ Runavík lose to B36 Tórshavn and therby also lose the chance of winning the title. FC Suðuroy lose against Víkingur but could still avoid relegation if they beat AB Argir in the last round. B68 Toftir easily beat lowly AB Argir 3-0.

September 12, 2010: UEFA Euro 2012 Qualifier, Group C:
The Faroe Islands hold Northern Ireland to a 1-1 draw (video of Faroese goal included).

October 08, 2010: UEFA Euro 2012 Qualifier, Group C:
Slovenia beat the Faroe Islands 5-1 (extended video highlights included).

October 02, 2010: Round 25 of the Vodafone Division:
HB Tórshavn beat NSÍ Runavík 3-2 to go 3 points clear on the top of the table and will win the title if they get 4 points in their two remaining matches. EB/Streymur go second as they comfortably beat Víkingur (video highlights included). FC Suðuroy get real hope og avoiding relegation as they beat B68 Toftir while B71 are defeated by ÍF Fuglafjørður who fight for a european place. AB Argir are beaten 5-0 by B36.

September 26 & 27, 2010: Round 24 of the Vodafone Division:
NSÍ Runavík lead HB Tórshavn on goal difference at the top of the table as NSÍ beat AB Argir while HB draw away to EB/Streymur (video highlights included) who are only 3 points adrift. B71 Sandoy stay four points clear of FC Suðuroy in the relegation zone as B71 come back from two goals down to rescue a draw. B36 Tórshavn squander bucket loads of scoring opportunities but do enough to beat ÍF Fuglafjørður 1-0. B68 Toftir beat Víkingur who are not assured of European Football next season.

September 22 & 23, 2010: Round 23 of the Vodafone Division:
HB Tórshavn are back on the top of the table as they beat AB Argir while NSÍ Runavík drop to second as they are downed by Víkingur. B71 Sandoy hold B36 Tórshavn to pick up an invaluable point to go four points clear of FC Suðuroy who lose 5-2 against the well-oiled EB/Streymur machine (video highlights included). ÍF Fuglafjørður come from behind to rescue a point away to B68 Toftir.

September 17 & 19, 2010: Round 22 of the Vodafone Division:
HB Tórshavn edge past Víkingur to close the gap on leaders NSÍ Runavík to only one point as they are held to a 1-1 draw by FC Suðuroy. B71 Sandoy score 4 against AB Argir in the second half to break 3 points clear of Suðuroy, while AB's chances are becoming more and more mathematical only. B36 Tórshavn comfortably beat B68 Toftir. ÍF Fuglafjørður salvage a point deep into added time having been behind three times against EB/Streymur.

B71 Sandoy rescue a point against B68 Toftir to keep their nose in front of FC Suðuroy.

September 07, 2010: UEFA Euro 2012 Qualifier, Group C:
The Faroe Islands are overrun by Italy who triumph 5-0 (Video highlights included).

September 04, 2010: U21 Qualifying round:
The Faroe Islands U-21 team end their record-breaking campaign with a 1-0 defeat in Moldova.

September 03, 2010: UEFA Euro 2012 Qualifier, Group C:

HB Tórshavn are back in the title hunt with a 2-0 win over B71 Sandoy. Arnbjørn Hansen put on a goalshow as he scores 5 times in EB/Streymur’s 6-0 win over AB Argir (video highlights included). Víkingur leave it late against B36 Tórshavn while ÍF Fuglafjørður come from behind to beat FC Suðroy. NSÍ Runavík's unbeaten run of 15 matches is stopped by B68 Toftir.

August 25, 2010: Round 15 of the Vodafone Division:
HB Tórshavn draw away to B68 and fail to take advantage of EB/Streymur's draw against league leaders NSÍ who are edging closer to the title. B36 with a new coach narrowly beat Suðuroy while B71 bounce back to get a goalless draw against Víkingur.

August 20 & 22, 2010: Round 19 of the Vodafone Division:
Unconvincing HB do enough to beat B68 and close the gap on leaders NSÍ to 5 points. FC Suðuroy surprise B36 Tórshavn and cut the gap to B71 Sandoy in the crucial 8th spot to only 2 points, as B71 suffer yet another heavy defeat; this time to Víkingur. AB Argir are running out of options as they are beaten by ÍF Fuglafjørður. Goalless draw between NSÍ Runavík and EB/Streymur.

August 15 & 16, 2010: Round 18 of the Vodafone Division:
EB/Streymur's title-hopes all but end after a 1-1 draw away to B68 Toftir. NSÍ Runavík open up a 7-point gap at the top of the table as they beat B71 Sandoy 6-1 while B36 beat HB in the Tórshavn derby.

August 11, 2010: U21 Qualifying round:
Double digits in the table for the Faroe Islands Under 21 as they beat Andorra 3-1, having been a goal down at half-time.

August 11, 2010: UEFA Euro 2012 Qualifier, Group C:
Bitter blow as the Faroe Islands are beaten 2-1 by Estonia who strike twice in added time to wreck it for the Faroes (Video highlights included).

EB/Streymur win their third cup in 4 years as they beat ÍF Fuglafjørður 1-0 (Video highlights included).

Unstoppable NSÍ come from behind to beat B36 with an added time winner in a 7-goal thriller. B68 look safe from relegation as they beat relegation threatened AB. Víkingur comfortably beat bottom team FC Suðuroy. HB beat ÍF to put pressure on NSÍ who take on B36 on Tuesday. EB/Streymur demolish B71 8-0 as Brian Olsen scores four.

July 27-29, 2010: Round 16 of the Vodafone Division:
Two goals and a red card within the first three minutes of the match as Víkingur beat B36. Champions HB losing ground as they are beaten by B71 whose 3 points could be worth a ticket for next season's top flight. 2-1 for leaders NSÍ against B68 who rue a missed penalty. EB/Streymur come from behind to beat AB with a late strike. ÍF are back on track as they beat bottom team FC Suðuroy.

July 22, 2010, UEFA Europa League, 2nd qualifying round, 2nd leg:
Víkingur - Besiktas 0-4 (0-4): Dreadful first half performance from Víkingur allows Besiktas to score four, but improvement in the second half saves Víkingur from further embarrassment as they hold the Turks from scoring (Videos of goals included).

July 20, 2010, UEFA Champions League, 2nd qualifying round, 2nd leg:
HB Tórshavn - Red Bull Salzburg 1-0 (0-0): Símun Samuelsen hits bull's-eye as HB Tórshavn beat Red Bull Salzburg (Video of goal included).

July 15, 2010, UEFA Europa League, 2nd qualifying round, 1st leg:
Besiktas - Víkingur 3-0 (1-0): A heroic effort is probably too big a word to use when you lose, but Víkingur’s 1st half performance almost justifies that word as they conceded only one goal during the first 45 minutes and held out for an hour before they conceded the second goal. A minute before the end of normal time Besiktas cemented their victory with their third goal of the match (Videos of goals included).

July 13, 2010, UEFA Champions League, 2nd qualifying round, 1st leg:
Red Bull Salzburg - HB Tórshavn 5-0 (2-0): Although the Austrian champions Red Bull Zalzburg didn´t look like any formidable force, it was still enough to comfortably beat the Faroese champions HB 5-0. But although Salzburg had practically all of the possession, the winning margin was unnecessary big as HB's defence was simply too sloppy and un-concentrated and gave the Austrian bulls too long a rope (Videos of goals included).

July 08, 2010, UEFA Europa League, 1st qualifying round, 2nd leg:
EB/Streymur's hope of a European upset against Kalmar FF all but ended when they conceded after only 8 minutes. NSÍ Runavík score in added time to escape with a decent 2-1 defeat away to Gefle IF.

July 03 & August 25, 2010: Round 15 of the Vodafone Division:
Ivorian duo salvages a point for 10-men AB Argir, having been 4-2 behind away to ÍF Fuglafjørður.

July 01, 2010, UEFA Europa League, 1st qualifying round, 1st leg:
Everything still to play for as EB/Streymur escape with a 1-0 defeat to Kalmar FF (includes video highlights). NSÍ Runavík's chances of progress are slim as they are beaten 2-0 at home by Gefle IF.

Símun Samuelsen answers his critics as he leads HB to a 5-2 win over EB/Streymur who already looked to have left the country to play the Europa League match against Swedish Kalmar on Thursday. AB Argir stop NSÍ Runavík's winning streak. ÍF Fuglafjørður smashed to pieces by on-song B36 Tórshavn. 3 massive points for FC Suðuroy who beat B71 Sandoy. Stalemate as B68 picks up their first away-point away to Víkingur.

June 19 & 20, 2010: Round 13 of the Vodafone Division:
With their 9th victory in succession, NSÍ have opened up a 3-point lead in the table as they beat HB 2-0 in the top-of-the-table clash on Saturday evening. ÍF Fuglafjørður climb to within a point of former leaders HB in second place, as they beat B71 Sandoy. B36 finally win again as they beat AB. EB/Streymur throw away a two-goal lead against Víkingur. FC Suðuroy grab a point from B68.

June 16, 2010: Round 12 of the Vodafone Division:
Poor, lucky and maybe clever HB Tórshavn drop to 2nd in the table as they only manage a draw against bottom team AB Argir while NSÍ Runavík surge to the top by beating Víkingur with their 8th straight victory.

June 12 & 13, 2010: Round 11 of the Vodafone Division:
HB Tórshavn claw back the top spot by beating Víkingur. B71 Sandoy climb 5 points above the relegation line as they beat AB Argir in the bottom clash. B68 finally win again as they beat B36 who havent won in 8 attempts. NSÍ Runavík put maximum pressure on HB Tórshavn as they beat strugglers FC Suðuroy to make it 7 in a row to claim a provisional top spot in the table. EB/Streymur climb to 3rd position with a comprehensive win over ÍF Fuglafjørður (includes video highlights).

June 08, 2010: Cup Semi-finals, 2nd leg:
ÍF Fuglafjørður score at the death against Víkingur to qualify for the cup final where they will face EB/Streymur who will be in their 4th successive final after having turned a 2-1 deficit from the 1st leg around to beat B36 Tórshavn 2-0.

May 28-30, 2010: Round 10 of the Vodafone Division:
B71 Sandoy score in added time to beat B68 and move 2 points clear of the relegation line. B36 Tórshavn and EB/Streymur draw. HB Tórshavn are back on top after beating Suðuroy 3-0. AB Argir get their 5th point in 3 games as they draw with Víkingur. NSÍ Runavík take provisional pole position as they come from 3-1 behind to beat ÍF Fuglafjørður 5-3.

May 01-31, 2010: May Round-Up:
Cup final moved again – date and venue | Brian Kerr selects the team to face Luxembourg on 4 June | AB Argir cut player-wages by half.

May 24 & 25, 2010: Round 09 of the Vodafone Division:
EB/Streymur close in on the leaders with a 3-0 win over B68 who slip to 7th. ÍF Fuglafjørður take a surprise lead in the table as they beat víkingur while HB are held to a draw by B36 in the Tórshavn derby. NSÍ go third with their 5th win on the trot as they beat B71 Sandoy. As AB Argir beat FC Suðuroy, 3 teams are tight at the bottom.

May 20, 2010: Cup Semi-finals, 1st leg:
B36 Tórshavn come from behind to beat EB/Streymur while Víkingur do the same to beat ÍF Fuglafjørður who miss a late penalty.

May 16, 2010: Round 08 of the Vodafone Division:
The top is getting more crowded as HB Tórshavn suffer their first defeat of the campaign as they lose to ÍF Fuglafjørður, wile Víkingur beat Suðuroy and NSÍ Runavík beat B36 Tórshavn. EB/Streymur snatch the winner against B71 Sandoy in added time. Rock-bottom AB Argir get a valuable point away to B68 Toftir.

May 12 & 13, 2010: Round 07 of the Vodafone Division:
With a 1-0 win over B71 Sandoy, HB Tórshavn open up a 5-point gap in at the top of the table as B36 fail to win for the 4th time in succession as they are beaten by Víkingur. ÍF move up to 3rd spot with a win over FC Suðuroy. EB/Streymur come from behind to beat AB Argir who are still rooted to the bottom of the table (includes video highlights). NSÍ Runavík get 3rd straight win in 9 days as they comfortably beat B68 Toftir.

May 07 & 09, 2010: Round 06 of the Vodafone Division:
B68 thought they had earned a draw as they equalized to 3-3 against HB in the 89th minutes, but HB still managed to snatch the victory. NSÍ Runavík escape the relegation zone by beating EB/Streymur who more or less can be written off in the title chase already.

May 02-04, 2010: Round 05 of the Vodafone Division:
NSÍ Runavík get first win of the season as they beat AB Argir who are now isolated at the bottom of the table. Víkingur miss out on the opportunity to go top of the table as they lose to B68 Toftir in a crazy 8-goal thriller. With a 1-0 win away to EB/Streymur, HB Tórshan climb to the top of the table where they are equal on points with B36 Tórshavn who have a superior goal difference however.

April 01-30, 2010: April Round-Up:
Faroe Islands coach Brian Kerr picks Irish friend John McDonnell as his assistant, who confirms the "secret" friendly match against Luxembourg | Gunnar Nielsen probably no more Premier League action this season | The draw for the semifinals of the cup has been made | Goalkeeper Gunnar Nielsen becomes first Faroese to play in the Premier League. | FIFA confirms Luxembourg - Faroe Islands friendly | Second best:-) website about Faroese football launches | The draw for the quarter finals of the Cup Competition has been made.

April 25, 2010: Quarterfinals of the Cup competition:
Dramatic cup ties as Víkingur win on penalties over AB Argir while ÍF Fuglafjørður beat B68 Toftir in the last minute of extra time. EB/Streymur comfortably beat VB/Sumba and B36 Tórshavn romp to a 7-1 win over 1st division side FC Hoyvík.

April 21, 2010: Round 1 of the Cup competition:
FC Suðuroy beat former high-flyers Skála 6-1 in the postponed 1st round cup match.

April 16 & 18, 2010: Round 04 of the Vodafone Division:
HB score twice at the death to snatch a win over NSÍ. B36 are held to 2-2 by AB. And FC Suðuroy get 3 points after a 3-1 win over B68 while B71 get an unexpected point against ÍF. Víkingur hold on to their second place with a late rally as they fight back from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw with EB/Streymur.

April 11 & 12, 2010: Round 03 of the Vodafone Division:
B68 move up to 3rd after a 1-0 over ÍF Fuglafjørður. B36 keep their 100% record intact with a win over B71, while Víkingur beat NSÍ Runavík to go second in the table. Champions HB and EB/Streymur (includes video highlights) record their first victories of the season.

April 05 - 07, 2010: Round 02 of the Vodafone Division:
Stalemate as Víkingur hold HB Tórshavn who miss a host of sitters. ÍF snatch a draw against EB/Streymur with a last gasp equalizer. B36 win again and FC Suðuroy get another point after an added time equalizer against NSÍ Runavík. B71 lead twice against AB Argir but have to settle for a draw in the end. Víkingur vs. HB is postponed due to strong wind.

March 31 - April 01, 2010: Round 01 of the Vodafone Division:
Champions HB Tórshavn held to 4-4 by FC Suðuroy who lose their victory 6 minutes into added time having led 4 times. B36 beat EB/Streymur (includes video highlights) while B68 Toftir romp to 5-0 win over newly promoted B71 Sandoy. Víkingur beat AB Argir 5-3 while ÍF Fuglafjørður turn things around from yesterday’s called off match to beat NSÍ Runavík today.

March 01-31, 2010: March Round-Up:
The Vodafone Divison comences. Cup final postponed 3 days. F.A. semi-comfirms Luxembourg-friendly. Goalkeeper Gunnar Nielsen be tough on Mum! Is Luxembourg vs Faroe Islands real? March 27, 2010: The Cup Competition:
HB Tórshavn knocked out of the cup by B36 Tórshavn. Cup holders Víkingur need extra time to get the better of B71 Sandoy. Also EB/Streymur need extra time before they edge past NSÍ Runavík.

March 21, 2010: Friendly International, Iceland vs. Faroe Islands
Icaland beat the Faroe Islands 2-0 in Sunday's friendly international.

March 20, 2010: The Cup Competition:
The qualifying round for the Cup has been played today.

March 15, 2010: The Super Cup:
Champions HB Tórshavn beat cup winners Víkingur 2-1.

February 01-28, 2010: February Round-Up:
League kicks off on 31 March. Símun Samuelsen and Rógvi Holm sign for champions HB Tórshavn.
