Cup Competition - Semi-final draw:
The draw for the semi-finals of the cup competition was made on Monday evening and resulted in these matches:
1st leg - 21 May:
Víkingur - B36 Tórshavn
NSÍ Runavík - HB Tórshavn
2nd leg - 03 June:
B36 Tórshavn - Víkingur
HB Tórshavn - NSÍ Runavík
The final will be played on 29 August in Tórsvøllur Stadium in Tórshavn.

Draw for the quarter-finals of the cup competition
B36 Tórshavn vs. EB/Streymur
Giza/Hoyvík (2 div) vs. HB Tórshavn
ÍF Fuglafjørður vs. Víkingur
NSÍ Runavík vs. AB Argir
All teams except Giza/Hoyvík are from the premier division.
The matches will be played on Wednesday 22 April.
The semi-finals will be played on 21 May and 3 June, and the final on 29 August.

Goalkeeper Gunnar Nielsen to Icelandic champions Stjarnan
It’s 10 days ago now that goalkeeper Gunnar Nielsen signed a one-year contract for Icelandic champions Stjarnan.
Stjarnan ousted Motherwell - with Nielsen on the bench – from the Europa League last season.
If not famous for their football, many will know Stjarman for their special goal celebrations of which you can see a video compilation of below.
As a curiosity, it can be mentioned that Nielsen would have been eligible to play for the Icelandic national team had he chosen to as his mother is from Iceland.

André Olsen quits ÍF Fuglafjørður
André Olsen, who joined
ÍF Fuglafjørður ahead of the season, has returned to B68 Toftir in the
2nd tier as he found it difficult to make the starting line-up at ÍF
after a year out with a knee injury.
