November 01-30, 2013: November Round-Up:
Faroe Islands beat Greenland in the first Futsal match, but lose the next two in the 3-match series.
Two midfielders for B36 and Faroese international Jónas Tór Næs to EB/Streymur.
Malta vs Faroe Islands 3-2 (3-0) - (Video highlights)
Malta won Tuesday’s friendly encounter 3-2 against the Faroe Islands, having led 3-0 at half time. The Faroes pulled two goals back in the last 10 minutes of the match.
Newly promoted B68 Toftir and Skála name their coaches and sign new players. Two new inclusions for the Faroese team against Malta on Tuesday.

November 15, 2013: U21 Qualifying round:
The Faroe Islands concede three goals in nine minutes and another two in four to lose 5-2 against Ireland with all goals coming in the first half.

October 26, 2013: Round 27 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
NSÍ Runavík beat newly crowned champions HB Tórshavn but lose out on the Europa League place which goes to B36 Tórshavn who beat runners-up ÍF Fuglafjørður. TB Tvøroyri bow out of the top flight with a last gasp equalizer against Víkingur while KÍ Klaksvík thrash relegated 07 Vestur 7-1. EB/Streymur beat AB Argir but end outside the top 2 for the first time since 2006.

October 20, 2013: Round 26 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
HB Tórshavn claim 22nd Faroese league title with a 1-0 win over TB Tvøroyri.
ÍF Fuglafjørður secure their runners-up position for the second year in succession by beating NSÍ Runavík who drop to fourth and just outside of a European place which is currently occupied by B36 Tórshavn who with a last gasp winner beat EB/Streymur who drop to sixt; which will be their worst placing in the table since 2003. AB Argir comfortably beat relegated 07 Vestur. Víkingur score three goals in 10 minutes to beat KÍ Klaksvík who can afford it.

October 01-31, 2013: October Round-Up:
Súni Olsen quits the international stage and joins Víkngur next season. Two friendly internationals against Malta. Coach Sámal Erik Hentze quitting AB Argir.
2005 runners-up Skála returns to the top division. 07 Vestur name Hegga Samuelsen as new coach. National team for the world cup qualifiers against Kazakhstan and Austria selected, and so is the U21 team against Germany.

October 15, 2013: World Cup 2014 Qualifier, Group C:
Efficient Austria comfortably beat the Faroe Islands 3-0 in an historic victory, you could phrase it, as they for the first time beat the Faroe Islands on away soil in three attempts.

October 15, 2013: U21 Qualifying round:
Gary Lineker's quote about the definition of football being 22 men chasing a ball for 90 minutes where the Germans win in the end came true once more as the Faroe Islands were leading twice but lost 3-2 in the end to Germany(video).

October 11, 2013: World Cup 2014 Qualifier, Group C:
The Faroe Islands get their first point of the World Cup qualifying campaign with a 1-1 draw with Kazakhstan (video).

October 05 & 06, 2013: Round 25 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
HB Tórshavn must wait for title as they are downed by ÍF Fuglafjørður who close the gap to five points with two matches remaining. EB/Streymur drop out Europa League qualification as they are beaten by Víkingur. TB Tvøroyri need two sensations in the last two round to avoid relegation as they are defeated by B36 Tórshavn who are in close battle for European qualification with NSÍ Runavík who beat relegated 07 Vestur. 158 days since their last victory, KÍ Klaksvík move closer to safety with a massive 1-0 win over AB Argir, which also means that 07 Vestur now are officially relegated.

September 28 & 29, 2013: Round 24 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
HB Tórshavn only need a point in three matches to secure the championship as they beat 07 Vestur 6-0 while 2nd placed ÍF Fuglafjørður are beaten by Víkingur. TB Tvøroyri beat AB Argir to draw level on points with KÍ Klaksvík who lead on goal difference. NSÍ Runavík ease past 10-men B36 Tórshavn. Once again KÍ Klakvík only get a draw after having led both 2-0 and 3-1 against EB/Streymur who equalized in added time, but the one point could still be invaluable to KÍ.

September 25, 2013: Round 22 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
The title race stays alive as HB Tórshavn are beaten by AB Argir who virtually make sure of another season in the top division (match postponed from 15 September).

September 20 & 22, 2013: Round 23 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
10-men ÍF Fuglafjørður clinch injury-time winner against 07 Vestur to stay five points adrift of leaders HB Tórshavn who beat EB/Streymur 4-0. AB Argir beat Víkingur with their first away-win of the season to virtually book their place in next season’s top flight. TB Tvøroyri stay under the drop-line as they are defeated 4-1 by NSÍ Runavík. Same story for KÍ Klaksvík who lead against B36 Tórshavn, but lose in the end once again.

September 01-30, 2013: September Round-Up:
B68 Toftir return to the top flight.

September 18, 2013: Round 16 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
EB/Streymur score five for the second time in succession as they crush NSÍ Runavík 5-1 to climb within three points of ÍF Fuglafjørður in second place. 10-man Víkingur edge past rock-button 07 Vestur (Both matches postponed from 21 July because EB/Streymur and Víkingur were occupied with European football).

September 15, 2013: Round 22 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
EB/Streymur win 5-0 top put a dent in ÍF Fuglafjørður's title hopes. NSÍ Runavík comes from 3-1 down to win 4-3 KÍ Klaksvík who stay two points clear of TB Tvøroyri who threw a 1-0 lead away in the last quarter of an hour to lose 2-1 against 07 Vestur. B36 Tórshavn get late controversial winner against Víkingur. AB Argir - HB Tórshavn postponed to 25 September.

September 10, 2013: World Cup 2014 Qualifier, Group C:
Germany power past the Faroe Islands who were still in the game, however, until Germany made it 2-0 after 74 minutes on a penalty before making it 3-0 ten minutes later with a man in advantage (video).

September 06, 2013: World Cup 2014 Qualifier, Group C:
The Faroe Islands were leading at half time, but Kazakhstan equalized on a cheated penalty and scored the winner on a goal that should have been ruled off side (video).

Future German stars win comfortably, but don’t outplay the Faroe Islands.

August 30 & 31, 2013: Round 21 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
HB Tórshavn come from two goals down against B36 Tórshavn to rescue a 2-2 draw, but the lead at the top has shrunk to five points as ÍF Fuglafjørður beat AB Argir 3-2. TB Tvøroyri are still breathing as they beat KÍ Klaksvík in the bottom-clash. EB/Streymur ease past 07 Vestur whose chances for survival are only mathematical. NSÍ Runavík go fourth in the table after ending Víkingur's winning streak.

August 01-31, 2013: August Round-Up:
National team for the Kazakhstan and Germany qualifiers selected; so is the U21 team for the Germany match. HB Tórshavn’s Símun Samuelsen sidelined for rest of the season.
Faroe Islands vs. Germany sold out in 36 hours.
TB Tvøroyri appoint Páll Guðlaugsson as new coach
Faroe Islands lose another friendly against Iceland.
Víkingur's Europa League referee banned for life for match fixing. Súni Olsen replaced by Karl Løkin for the Iceland friendly. Viljormur Davidsen joins Vejle Boldklub.
Símun Samuelsen withdraws from the Iceland-friendly; replaced by Kaj Leo í Bartalsstovu. TB Tvøroyri vs. Sheffield F.C. cancelled.

August 24, 2013: Cup Final:
In a repeat of last year’s cup final between Víkingur and EB/Streymur, it was again Víkingur that came out victorious, winning their third final in the club’s only six years of existence since the merger of GÍ Gøta and LÍF Leirvík.

August 18, 2013: Round 20 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
Having been ripped to pieces by KÍ Klaksvík to go three goals down in the space of six minutes, HB Tórshavn staged a great comeback in the second half to rescue a 3-3 draw. AB Argir’s unbeaten run comes to an end – in stoppage time against B36 Tórshavn who win 2-1 to climb to third in the table. Víkingur leave it late, but beat 07 Vestur 3-1 to keep their 100% record intact under new coach Sigfríður Clementsen. TB Tvøroyri fight hard, but short lapse of concentration cost them a 1-0 defeat against ÍF Fuglafjørður. EB/Streymur drop to fourth after 1-0 defeat by NSÍ Runavík.

August 14, 2013: U21 Qualifying round:
Faroe Islands take the lead against Ireland, but lose 4-1 in the end.

August 10 & 11, 2013: Round 19 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
HB Tórshavn defeated at home for the first time this season as they are beaten by in-form Víkingur. 07 Vestur’s possibilities are becoming more and more mathematical as they lose to B36 Tórshavn. EB/Streymur comfortably beat TB Tvøroyri who don´t look like a team capable of survival. AB scrape another point for their survival-bag with a draw against NSÍ Runavík. Páll Klettskarð salvages KÍ's first point in six matches with an added-time goal against ÍF Fuglafjørður who looked to have snatched victory four minutes before the end of normal time.

August 07, 2013: Semi-finals, 2nd leg of the Cup Competition:
The cup final will be a repeat of last year’s final as EB/Streymur edge past KÍ Klaksvík to qualify for their SEVENTH cup final in succession where they’ll meet Víkingur who qualify with a draw against NSÍ Runavík.

August 04 & 05, 2013: Round 18 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
Fifth win in a row for AB Argir who climb five points above the relegation line with a 2-0 win over 07 Vestur who are eight points below the line. HB Tórshavn comfortably beat TB Tvøroyri to increase their lead in the table to 10 points as ÍF Fuglafjørður are downed by NSÍ Runavík in stoppage time. B36 Tórshavn overcome EB/Streymur. Víkingur's climb continues as they beat KÍ Klaksvík who lose for the 5th time in succession.

July 01-31, 2013: July Round-Up:
National team for the Iceland-friendly has been selected.
TB Tvøroyri part with coach Hans Fróði Hansen.
Ivorian Evrard Blé switches from 07 Vestur to B36 Tórshavn. NSÍ Runavík snap B68 Toftir top scorer and a defender from Denmark. And more transfer news, as the transfer window closes on Monday night.

Brazilian Alex Jose dos Santos becomes Faroese citizen.
Goalkeeper Gunnar Nielsen pens two-year contract with Motherwell.

July 27 - 29, 2013: Round 17 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
HB Tórshavn beat NSÍ Runavík 3-2 with a hat trick from Símun Samuelsen to stay seven points clear at the summit. TB Tvøroyri drop below the relegation line as they are well beaten by Víkingur. ÍF Fuglafjørður come from behind again again to beat B36 Tórshavn 2-1 with a late winner. AB Argir climb above the relegation line for the first time this season after beating EB/Streymur 3-1. 07 Vestur beat KÍ Klaksvík who lose for the fourth time in a row and have only picked up a single point since changing coach.

July 25, 2013, UEFA Champions League, 2nd qualifying round, 2nd leg:
Clinical FC Petrolul Piolest show no mercy as they beat Víkingur 4-0 and 7-0 on aggregate.

July 23, 2013, UEFA Champions League, 2nd qualifying round, 2nd leg: EB/Streymur concede twice within 12 minutes to lose 3-1 to Dinamo Tbilisi who win 9-2 on aggregate (Video highlights).

July 21 & Sep. 18, 2013: Round 16 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
HB Tórshavn march on with a comfortable 3-0 win over Klaksvík and stay seven points clear of closest followers ÍF Fuglafjørður who win 4-3 against TB Tvøroyri who are now just one point clear of AB Argir under the relegation line as AB come from to goals down to beat B36 Tórshvavn.

July 18, 2013, UEFA Champions League, 2nd qualifying round, 1st leg:
Not much to do for Víkingur who lose 3-0 away to Rumanian outfit Petrolul Ploiesti (Extended video highlights).

July 16, 2013, UEFA Champions League, 2nd qualifying round, 1st leg: After EB/Streymur had missed a sitter for 2-2 on the hour-mark, it was as they succumbed to fatigue in the humid conditions and the floodgates opened to allow Dinamo Tibilisi to score four goals in nine minutes to go on and to win 6-1 and virtually book their place in the third qualification round of the Champions League (Video of goals).

HB Tórshavn on fire in the first thirty minutes of the game rue missed chances as they crash out of the Europa League after an 89th minute penalty to ÍBV Vestmannaeyjar.

HB Tórshavn recovers from conceding against Víkingur after only 15 second to win 4-2 to stay 7 points clear of ÍF Fuglafjørður who beat KÍ Klaksvík. TB Tvøroyri lose their first match at home as EB/Streymur win to stay two points adrift of ÍF in second place. AB Argir beat NSÍ Runavík to close the gap on Víkingur and TB to only 4 points. B36 Tórshavn draw for the 9th time this season after stalemate against 07 Vestur.

June 15 & 16, 2013: Round 13 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
HB Tórshavn are lucky to draw 0-0 against 10-men ÍF Fuglafjørður, but will be content of staying 7 points clear at the top of the table. KÍ Klaksvík with a new coach still can’t win as AB Argir rescue a late draw. TB Tvøroyri are still unbeaten at home as they draw with B36 Tórshavn in the 3rd stalemate this round. EB/Streymur are held in scoreless draw by Víkingur who get their first away-point of the season. NSÍ Runavík come from behind to beat 07 Vestur.

June 11, 2013: World Cup 2014 Qualifier, Group C:
Sweden beat the Faroe Islands 2-0, but when Sweden’s Andreas Granqvist was sent off for Sweden in the 78th minute, the Faroe Islands were eyeing an opportunity for an equalizer, but before they had blinked, Zlatan Ibrahimovic knew exactly how to fall from a clumsy challenge to get a penalty which he safely converted himself to secure the win (Video). June 11, 2013: U21 Qualifying round:
3-0 for Montenegro against the Faroe Islands who miss yet another penalty.

June 07, 2013: World Cup 2014 Qualifier, Group C:
Ireland comfortably beat the Faroe Islands 3-0 with a hat trick from Robbie Keane (Video of goals).

June 07, 2013: U21 Qualifying round:
The Faroe Islands open their U21 campaign in style as they earn a draw against Rumania with last gasp equalizer.

June 01 & 02, 2013: Round 12 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
HB Tórshavn's unbeaten run of 11 matches comes to an end as they are downed by EB/Streymur. AB Argir get their first win as they beat Víkingur. ÍF Fuglafjørður climb to 2nd place with comfortable victory over 07 Vestur. TB Tvøroyri edge closer to safety with another point away to NSÍ Runavík. KÍ Klaksvík are losing steam and are defeated by B36 Tórshavn who record their first win in six games.

May 29, 2013: Semi-finals, 1st leg of the Cup Competition:
Everything still to play for as KÍ Klaksvík and EB/Streymur draw while Víkingur beat NSÍ Runavík 3-2 in the first leg of the semi-finals of the cup competition.

May 01-31, 2013: May Round-Up:
Several changes to the national team as Lars Olsen selects a 22-man squad for the qualifiers against Ireland and Sweden. Also the U21 team has been selected, with a major shift in personnel as several of the previous players have become too old.
Karl Løkin quits again at his new Icelandic club. Another Faroese debut in the Danish Superliga.

HB Tórshavn open up nine-point gap with easy win over AB Argir who drop 11 points below the relegation line as KÍ Klaksvík are held by NSÍ Runavík. B36 Tórshavn draw for the 7th time this season as Víkingur grab a late equalizer. TB Tvøroyri climb 7 points above the drop-line with a 2-0 win over 07 Vestur who look doomed. ÍF Fuglafjørður and EB/Streymur draw.

May 18 & 20, 2013: Round 10 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
HB Tórshavn throw two-goal lead away to go behind 3-2 against B36 Tórshavn but salvage a point with a late equalizer to stay 7 points clear of KÍ Klaksvík who get an injury-time equalizer against TB Tvøroyri. EB/Streymur win for the third time in successions as they beat 07 Vestur. Víkingur drop to 6th as they are beaten by NSÍ Runavík. Options are running out for rock bottom AB Argir who are defeated by ÍF Fuglafjørður.

May 10 & 12, 2013: Round 09 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
HB Tórshavn beat TB Tvøroyri to go seven points clear at the summit. The comeback kids from ÍF Fuglafjørður once again fight back from three goals down to draw against NSÍ Runavík. Champions EB/Streymur climb three places with a 4-1 over B36 Tórshavn. A point each for 07 Vestur and AB Argir in the clash of the bottom. Víkingur and KÍ Klaksvík draw.

May 05, 2013: Quarter-finals of the Cup Competition (Løgmanssteypið):
EB/Streymur knock out HB Tórshavn on penalties after 0-0 in 120 minutes. KÍ Klaksvík edge past ÍF Fuglafjørður while Víkingur and NSÍ Runavík comfortably beat 2nd tier opponents FC Suðuroy and Skála, respectively.

April 28, 2013: Round 08 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
HB Tórshavn march on with a 4-0 win over NSÍ Runavík to go 5 points clear at the top as Víkingur are downed by TB Tvøroyri who haven't lost in six games in a row. Mid-table B36 Tórshavn and ÍF Fuglafjørður draw. Rampant EB/Streymur destroy AB Argir who looked doomed. KÍ Klaksvík score three goals in the last 10 minutes to best 07 Vestur 5-2.

April 25, 2013: Round 07 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
HB Tórshavn go four points clear after coming from behind to beat KÍ Klaksvík in a seven-goal top-clash thriller. Víkingur are held by 07 Vestur. TB Tvøroyri lead by two but concedes twice against ÍF Fuglafjørður in the last seven minutes of the game. NSÍ Runavík win their third match in succession as they best struggling champions EB/Streymur. AB Argir get their first point of the season with a draw against B36 Tórshavn.

April 19 & 21, 2013: Round 06 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
HB Tórshavn open up a two-point gap at the top of the table with 3-0 win over Víkingur. ÍF Fuglafjørður come from three goals down to salvage a point against KÍ Klaksvík. TB Tvøroyri get point for the fourth time in succession as they draw away to EB/Streymur. B36 Tórshavn who have most of their men back from the injury list comfortably beat 07 Vestur. AB Argir are denied their first point of the season as NSÍ Runavík come from behind twice to clinch a last gasp victory

April 01, 2013: Round 04 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
HB Tórshavn edge past ÍF Fuglafjørður to top the table alongside KÍ Klaksvík who come from behind to beat lowly AB Argir. 07 Vestur steal stoppage time equalizer against NSÍ Runavík while injury-hit B36 Tórshavn salvage a late draw against Tvøroyri. Víkingur emphatically beat EB/Streymur.

March 28, 2013: Round 03 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
ÍF Fuglafjørður still have maximum points after a relatively comfortably win over newly promoted 07 Vestur. HB Tórshavn beat poor EB/Streymur. KÍ Klaksvík and B36 Tórshavn draw and so do TB Tvøroyri and NSÍ Runavík in a stalemate while Víkingur edge past AB Argir.

HB Tórshavn romp to a 3-0 lead in just 17 minutes to win 3-1 against AB Argir, but otherwise fail to neither impress nor convince. ÍF Fuglafjørður come from behind to beat 10-men EB/Streymur. 07 Vestur beat TB Tvøroyri 4-1. NSÍ Runavík equalize twice against KÍ Klaksvík who still snatch a late win. B36 Tórshavn flatten Víkingur by 4-0.

March 09 & 10, 2013: Round 01 of the premier division "EFFOdeildin":
HB and B36 draw in the Tórshavn derby. Víkingur come from behind to beat NSÍ Runavík with a brace from returned 2009 and 2011 topscorer Finnur Justinussen. Champions EB/Streymur start their defence of the title with a 4-0 win over newly promoted 07 Vestur who could have another short stay in the top flight. Runners up from last season grab late winner against promoted AB Argir while KÍ Klaksvík comfortably beat TB Tvøroyri who likely will find it tough this season.

March 03, 2013: The Super Cup:
Champions EB/Streymur win the Super Cup for the third time in succession, beating cup winners Víkingur 1-0
