Skála returns to the top division

With a 4-1 win over Víkingur on Saturday, Skála have been promoted back to the top division which they were a part of from 2002 – 2008, ending in the runners-up position in 2005, just pipped by B36 Tórshavn on the final day of competition.

Two relegations in a row then saw Skála drop to the 3rd tier, before returning to the second tier again in 2011. Since 2010, Skála have been coach by Eliesar J. Olsen who turned 24 years old a fortnight ago, but already has two promotions under his belt.
