December 2013 Round-Up:

December 31, 2013:

TB Tvøroyri-captain Rógvi Joensen not joining B36 Tórshavn after all

B36 have annulled the contract they had signed with TB Tvøroyri midfielder and captain Rógvi Joensen, reasoning the decision that there had been some misunderstandings about which fees they had to play for the player’s youth development at TB. In the end it was more than B36 thought they could afford.

December 21, 2013:

December has been a relatively quiet month with few transfers taking place. We have two noteworthy though.

Jonas Flindt Rasmussen to KÍ Klaksvík

Danish centre-back Jonas Flindt Rasmussen, who played for champions B36 Tórshavn in 2011 and 2012, has signed a three-year contract with KÍ Klaksvík.

Flindt Rasmussen has played for Norwegian 3rd tier club Nyberg where he played both as a defender and a forward and was their top scorer with 8 goals during the season, were Nyberg ended mid-table.

Kristoffur Jakobsen to ÍF Fuglafjørður

Attacking midfielder, 25-year old Kristoffur Jakobsen has switched from KÍ to ÍF Fuglafjørður. Jakobsen has one cap for the Faroe Islands seniors, but has played 18 times for the Under-21’s where he used to excel, but maybe hasn’t quite materialized his true potential in the league yet.
