June 10, 2007: Round 12 of the Formula Division:

3 teams level on top of the Formula Division as B36 and NSÍ draw and EB/Streymur lose to Skála.

B36 Tórshavn – NSÍ Runavík 1-1 (1-0)
With a 1-1 draw against NSÍ, B36 go top of the Formula Division, but only lead NSÍ and EB/Streymur on goal difference. B36 was the better team in the first half and after 17 minutes Mikkjal Thomassen put B36 ahead with a penalty, after goalkeeper Jens Martin Knudsen stupidly had brought down Hanus Thorleifsson. B36 looked set for 3 points, but after countless corners, NSÍ salvaged a point in the 87th minute thanks to Óli "Ironhead" Hansen's header.

Skála – EB/Streymur 2-1 (1-1)
After having been out with a broken foot since before the league started, striker Arnbjørn Hansen made a successful return when he poked in EB/Streymur's leading goal after 27 minutes. But that goal was cancelled out 10 minutes later when the referee blew for hand-ball and awarded Skála with a penalty. Alexander Johansen was the scorer. On the half hour mark in the 2nd half, Skála snatched all 3 points when Nigerian Óbi set up Bogi Gregersen's winner.

B71 Sandoy – HB Tórshavn 2-1 (2-0)
HB's dismal results against "lesser opponents" continue, as HB this time lost to B71 for the second time this season (although, how can B71 be a “lesser opponent” if they keep beating HB?). Just like in B71's win over HB earlier in the season, the foundation for B71's victory today was their defensive tactics combined with deadly effective counter-attacks. Halfway through the first half, Brazilian Wellington put B71 up 1-0 with a well placed shot just inside the left upright. 3 minutes before the interval, B71 doubled their lead after playing caretaker-coach Eli Hentze headed a rebound into the goal, after Símin Hansen's shot from 25 meters had bounced off the crossbar. In the dying moments of the second half, defender Hans á Lag .pull one back for HB, but it was only to be a consolation. HB can count themselves extremely lucky that all other result fell in their favor today, and are still "only" 5 points behind the leading pack.

VB/Sumba – KÍ Klaksvík 1-0 (0-0)
After having lost 10 in a row, VB/Sumba finally managed to get another win. VB/Sumba were the better team on the day, but it wasn't until the 88th minute that Jón Krosslá secured VB/Sumba the 3 points. VB/Sumba stay in the bottom though, level on points with AB Argir, but cut the difference to KÍ Klaksvík in the all-important 8th place to 5 points. But surely, KÍ will not be suckered really into the relegation zone…

GÍ Gøta – AB Argir 1-1 (0-0)
AB Argir played their first game under new coach Sigfríður Clementsen. Clementsen's approach to soccer is a very defensive one and this seemed to pay off for AB, as GÍ had difficulties creating scoring opportunities, although GÍ had a great majority of the possession. But on the other hand, it was AB who created the better scoring opportunities, and 33 minutes into the second half, AB took the lead when Bjarni Jørgensen's attempted cross somehow went straight into the corner of the goal. It looked to be the perfect start for AB's new coach, but right at the death, Pól Jóhannus Justinussen scored in his 5th game in succession to salvage a point for GÍ.
